This blog accompanies the international Symposium “Charlemagne: les temps, les espaces, les hommes. Construction et déconstruction d’un règne”. This Symposium will take place in Paris on March 26-28, 2014 to commemorate the 1200th anniversary of Charlemagne’s death on January 28, 814. It has been organized by the German Historical Institute, Paris, and the following universities: Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, Paris Ouest Nanterre La Défense, Paris-Est Marne-la-Vallée et Reims Champagne-Ardenne.
