German History Intersections is a new source-based digital project that examines three broad themes – migration, knowledge and education, and “Germanness” – from 1500 to the present. The project aims to move beyond traditional period-driven history, situate Germans and Germany within larger transnational contexts, and use digital media to bring together diverse historical primary and secondary sources in thought-provoking new ways.
